HBO work and thinking level
As Front-end developer, aka Code Guru, you are our translator from pictures to working code. In a short time you’ll be making a prototype of design-files in real javascript. Here you learn everything from new UI/UX standards in the world, even better, perhaps you already know parts because of previous projects. You understand that your work will be seen bij real customers like the Formule 1 in Zandvoort or Etos and that gives you an energy boost.
Do you recognize yourself in this?
We offer you a challenging workplace and a fantastic innovative working environment in one of the fastest growing tech-companies in the Netherlands. The innovative working environment means the stimulation of happiness at work among all employees. This stems, along with other things, from being a flat organization and that there are no managers but self-steering teams in which everyone is equal. Your work environment is built such that when feeling stuck you could go bananas on our LEGO-wall or you could play a game of (table)soccer. Would you like to know more about a certain subject? Once a month we have our knowledge sessions: during these nice and vibrant evenings extra information will be shared about for instance Vue, Yaml or other requested topics and there will be pizza!
As a programmer at Levarne you’re the builder and also the link of the development process and the customer in which you have a leading role. You are capable to work independently for building results for the customer as well as for colleagues and you are skilled to make realistic estimations.
Together with your colleagues you’re occupied with programming the most innovative cloud applications! You’re a true programmer and you have experience with the basic front-end languages (Vue.js /HTML / CSS (SASS or LESS) / Javascript). The user interface you make today will already be used by thousands of people tonight. You’re an independent brainstorming partner for our designer about the feasibility of a set up design. When the design is approved you start building the code for it and style it with tools and interactions which are added with Javascript. Gradually you start mastering the native cloud applications more and more to a point that native apps have no secrets for you anymore.
During the joint free lunch you share a fun idea about our next company activity, and next month we’ll be doing that! Thanks for thinking along! After the break you start with an ongoing project in which you help existing customers by solving issues or building in new functionalities in their applications. As soon as the new functionality is built in and set up in a development environment, you or your colleague call the customer to provide an explanation about the new feature and when everything is done it can be released via our Github deployment workflow.
The last few weeks in your spare hours you were busy with optimizing our front-end tools. You present your ideas to your colleagues during a meeting on Wednesday while enjoying a cold beer.
