

Ziemann is a leading company in cash transport, specialized in optimizing cash flows within the retail and banking sector. With a data-driven approach and innovative technologies, Ziemann offers end-to-end solutions for safe, efficient and transparent cash payments. In cooperation with Cikam, Ziemann provides personal and safe services in the Netherlands.
There was a lack of clear visibility into the status of customers' cash handling machines, making it difficult to plan collection routes efficiently and deploy drivers effectively. In addition, secure unlocking of the machines was essential, so that drivers could gain access without the end customer being able to access the cash. Finally, it was important that Cikam could credit customers in advance, with a system that allowed banks to reliably verify transactions.
To solve these challenges, three innovative solutions were introduced. First, a user-friendly Administrator Portal was developed that gives Ziemann’s planning department insight into the status of ATMs. This makes it easy to identify priority locations, resulting in more efficient routes and saving time and resources. In addition, a mobile app was designed for cash-in-transit drivers, supporting them on the road. The app enables drivers to safely unlock ATMs via a secure system, thus preventing the risk of misuse by third parties. Finally, a special functionality was developed that allows banks to monitor transactions in real time. This makes it possible to credit money in safes in advance, significantly speeding up the financial process for customers.
The administrator portal works intuitively and makes planning of valuables transport efficient and easy, as well as unlocking the secured cash machines. Finally, the new system ensures that customers can be credited in advance, which increases efficiency.
